Fourth Annual Jump Into Summer Community Fun Day, sponsored by HMS La Vida focusing on fitness and nutrition while promoting a healthy lifestyle for all families and individuals. Featured activities include a variety of games, fun fitness challenges, dancing, bike rodeo, obstacle course, climbing wall, and the Project Hope Van for free health screenings. Also included this year is a food court featuring nutritious foods and the return of the popular critter cuts. Pick up your passport at anyone of the many activity booths and participate in at least six activities to get your name entered into a raffle drawing for great prizes provided by participating local merchants. All ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. Come join us for a FREE community friendly fitness filled day!

Governor Susana Martinez Encourages New Mexicans to Celebrate Good Mental Health During the Month of May

The New Mexico Primary Care Association has selected Dr. Neal Bowen as the New Mexico Mental Health Provider of the year. This Prestigious award is given to health providers that demonstrate distinctive service to their communtiy that is above and beyond "the standard". Dr. Bowen currently serves as the Mental Health Director for HMS. In addition to his responsibilities with HMS, he is also an adjunct faculty member at Western New Mexico University.
