Dr. Darrick Nelson named Medical Provider of the Year 2012 |

Dr. Darrick Nelson was named the New Mexico physician of the year by the NM Primary Care Association. Dr. Nelson serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Hidalgo Medical Services (“HMS”), a non-profit, federally-qualified health center with 11 locations in Grant and Hidalgo Counties of southwest New Mexico. Dr. Nelson tirelessly directs the delivery of quality primary care services for HMS. He provides leadership in all clinic operations and innovation on projects and programs to improve clinical and overall health outcomes for the residents of Southwest New Mexico.
