HMS is a growing organization and is seeking applicants who can help the organization deliver the best in positive customer service and patient care. In 2006, HMS will deliver almost 50,000 patient services to an estimated 10,000 residents in Grant and Hidalgo counties. Our Family Support Centers will impact on the lives of thousands of people during the same period.
Over the last three years, HMS has more than doubled the number of employees and continues to seek innovative ways to bring affordable health care and other services to residents of southwestern New Mexico. To do that successfully, HMS will look for applicants who can support the mission of the organization and bring new talent and ideas into the workplace.
Skills, experience, qualifications and attitude all contribute to the success of an employee. The characteristics sought by HMS include:
- Focus on customer service- a priority at every level of the organization
- Good keyboard skills and moderate familiarity with computers
- Energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Quality-focused – doing the job right the first time
- Focus on team problem-solving and cooperation to reach a goal
- Personal initiative – looking for opportunities to make a difference and not wait for someone else to do it.
- Willingness to learn and improve
Aside from our excellent benefit package, one of the benefits of employment with us is the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the patients and clients we see.
